Dog Rescue

Two of our beloved patients, Gunner and Lacy, had a bit of an adventure over the weekend- they both fell through the ice on a frozen pond. Union Colony Fire and Rescue answered the call and soon saved both dogs. We here at West Ridge are very happy to hear that both Gunner and Lacy were fine and went home with their owner shortly after the incident.

We talked to the owners this morning and the dogs are doing fine. They went home yesterday, had a nice warm shower, and after being dried off (both by towel and by hair dryer!) slept most of the day yesterday. Today they are back to their normal, energetic selves.
