Sally Blanchard Consultations

Did you know that we here in Greeley Colorado have local access to two of the best companion bird resources in the United States? We have worked closely with Susanne Cochran at Avalon Aviary for years and now we are very pleased to announce a partnership with well-known parrot behavior consultant and author, Sally Blanchard!

As the editor of the Companion Parrot Online Magazine and a long time writer and columnist for Bird Talk Magazine, Sally is known for her logical and practical parrot information. She has an information-packed website that is dedicated to helping people have the best companion parrots possible.

Sally will be available at West Ridge on Thursday afternoons for Question and Answer sessions starting at 3pm. At that time she will answer any questions you have about the behavior of your parrots. Her advice will be tailored to your individual needs. Sally has been successful in helping hundreds of people with her behavior consultations and her expertise includes help with biting and aggression, excessive screaming, fearful and phobic behaviors, feather destructive behaviors, over-bonding and sexual behaviors, and issues involving food rigidity and converting parrots to a healthy diet. Sally will also being doing individual in-depth consultations at West Ridge Animal Hospital for people who feel that they need more information that is specific to their lives with their parrots.
