West Ridge Participates in Free Spay Weekend

In an effort to increase public awareness regarding laparoscopic (lap) surgeries, our veterinarians will be participating with six other Colorado veterinary hospitals in Free Spay Weekend. Free Spay Weekend is sponsored by BioVision Technologies and Pawscorp.com and will provide free spays for 100 lucky dogs this weekend. West Ridge Animal Hospital will be preforming four of the spays.

Our desire to promote lap surgeries stems from study findings that show lap spays cause the dog less pain and recovery time than traditional surgery and provide many other benefits over traditional invasive surgeries.
