"Yellow Dog" in Need of a Home: UPDATED

Hello there! My name is Yellow Dog. I am a spayed female Border collie mix and I am about 5 to 8 years old. I am such a good girl and I've been through so much. I am looking for a loving and caring family who will treat me the way I deserve to be treated for the rest of my life. For the first 4 to 5 years of my life I was left in a small kennel with another dog and never got to come out. We both were neglected, unsocialized, and practically abandoned and all we had were each other. Thankfully I was rescued from that horrible place by a wonderful woman. Although she had a full house with many, many dogs and a large number of cats she still took me into her home. I was so thankful for a warm place to live, human contact, and good food. However, much to everyone’s dismay, I do not particularly get along with all of her animals. This is the reason that I must find another home. I would be best in a family that does not have any other pets; however, I might get along with other medium, senior dogs. Due to the fact that I was so neglected the majority of my life, I crave attention. I am very loyal to my family members and will never miss an opportunity to curl up on their lap. I am crate trained and house broken. I would just adore a family that could spend a lot of time with me and a family that has the patience to work with me. I have been through so much and all I simply want is to be loved. Please give me a chance at a brand new life. I don’t have anywhere else to go and I no longer fit-in with my family.
