Celebrate Seniors!

Living longer, living better-starting at 7

Knowing your pets’ health status is critical as they age. There are important test options below that can identify health risks before they become evident and even serious. Early detection can help in disease prevention and can minimize suffering. If left undetected, many diseases can put your pet’s health at risk. The best approach to caring for your senior pet’s health is preventative health care. Together we can help your pet live longer and healthier!

Bronze Package
This package for your senior pet includes a thorough exam of your pet’s physical health. As always, the exam is your pet’s best defense against ailments. Also included are a comprehensive blood panel and a urinalysis performed here at West Ridge. A special test will be run on the urine called an ERD test. This will check for traces of protein in the urine, which can be a key indicator for early kidney disease. Additionally, your pet will receive a comprehensive nutritional assessment by one of our nutritional consultants. $160.00

Silver Package
Our Silver package includes all the services of the Bronze package with the addition of a thorough series of radiographs, which will be reviewed by a board-certified radiologist. This glimpse inside your pet will give us a good indication of organ health along with what stage of arthritis your pet may be in. $388.50

Gold Package
The Gold package includes everything from the Bronze and Silver packages, but will also include an ECG. An ECG will measure the rate and rhythm of your pet’s heart. These frequencies are assessed by board certified cardiologists for any abnormalities that may exist at this stage of your pet’s life. The ECG is studied for any signs of heart disease that may be present. $482.50

Platinum Package
The Platinum package, which is the most extensive, includes all of the Gold, Silver and Bronze packages with the addition of an ultrasound. Unlike radiographs, ultrasounds allow us to view the inside of your pet’s organs, not just the shapes and sizes. Once the board-certified radiologist reviews the results we can begin proactive treatment of any approaching disease(s). $775.30

Each package reflects a 10% senior pet discount. Additions may need to be made to the above packages to fit the health care needs of your pet.
